Heartburn is chest pain due to irritation of the esophageal lining by stomach acid reflux. With healthy digestive function, food moves in one direction only, it enters from the esophagus to the stomach. In the case of heartburn, the content of the stomach goes in the reverse direction, it moves from the stomach up to the esophagus. Since the stomach content is very acidic, it burns the lining of the esophagus causing pain. The reverse flow of the stomach content is due to unhealthy digestive tract and indigestion. Without daily regular bowel movements, the congested fecal matter causes back up of the system and stomach acid reflux. Stress, overeating, caffeine, alcohol, strong spices are also aggravating factors.
Solution: While it is important to avoid food and drinks that are hard for you to digest and can irritate the heartburn, the best way to look after heartburn and indigestion is to promote healthier digestive function. You can promote a healthier digestive system by detoxifying and cleansing the digestive system to restore healthy daily regular bowel movements. With regular bowel movements, food will move in the right direction and heartburn can be eliminated.
When eating, don’t rush, chew your food slowly and thoroughly to help with digestion and absorption. Eat more complex carbohydrates like green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits. Slightly cooked, green leafy vegetables and other complex carbohydrates should make up most of your meal, lean meat and fish should make up about 20 to 30 percent of your meal. Fatty meat should not make up most of your meal. Avoid or at least minimize refined foods, deep fried food, food containing high level of animal fats, sugar, salt and artificial ingredients. Drink water, tea, coffee and avoid soft drinks and alcohol. Eat on time and eat at the same time for every meal everyday. Avoid overeating and go for a walk after meals to help with the movement of the food through the digestive system.
Try DR-HO’S Sereni-Tea after dinner for better digestion and to promote regularity. The Sereni-Tea also contains chamomile and other natural herbal ingredients for relaxing the body and the mind for a more peaceful sleep.
Try these healthy eating and lifestyle habits along with better food selections to take care of your heartburn and other functional digestive problems. Do not rely on chemical means only to control your heartburn; it’s not a healthy long term solution.

Abdominal bloating is when the abdomen feels full and tight. It is usually caused by trapped intestinal gas, indigestion and less often due to water retention. Abdominal bloating is also one of the most common and early symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), irregularity and other digestive dysfunctions. The most common causes of bloating are:
- Overeating
- Irregularity
- Indigestion
- Lactose intolerance and other food intolerances
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
- Partial bowel obstruction
- Constipation
- Rotting fecal matters in the gut producing gas.
Solution: The best way reduce bloating and indigestion is to promote healthier digestive function. You can promote a healthier digestive system by detoxifying and cleansing the digestive system to restore healthy daily regular bowel movement. With regular bowel movement, food will move through the system and not sit and rot to cause bloating.
Avoid overeating, carbonated water, soft drinks, alcohol, diary products and foods which can cause you to feel bloated. When eating, don’t rush, chew your food slowly and thoroughly to help with digestion and absorption. Eat a lot more complex carbohydrates like green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits. Slightly cooked, green leafy vegetables and other complex carbohydrates should make up most of your meal, lean meat and fish should make up about 20 to 30 percent of your meal. Drink water, tea, coffee and avoid soft drinks and alcohol. Eat on time and eat at the same time for every meal everyday. Avoid overeating and go for a walk after meal to help with the movement of the food downwards.
Try DR-HO’S Sereni-Tea after meal for better digestion and to promote regularity. The Sereni-Tea also contains chamomile and other natural herbal ingredients for relaxing the body and the mind for a more peaceful sleep.
Try these healthy eating and lifestyle habits along with better food selections to take care of your bloating, indigestion and other functional digestive problems. Do not rely on chemical means only to control your bloating and indigestion; it’s not a healthy long term solution.
Note: Fennel is an important ingredient in helping to relieve bloating from excessive intestinal gas. This natural herbal remedy can be used safely on a daily basis and is a key ingredient in both DR-HO’S® Sereni-Tea™ and DR-HO’S® Digestive Cleanser. Stay clear of any carbonated drinks and drinks with high sugar content. Irritable Bowel Syndrome is a common digestive dysfunction characterized by frequent abdominal cramps, along with recurrences of constipation, frequent bowel movements with diarrhea, excessive passing of gas, bloating, low energy and general body weakness. People suffering from IBS are generally afraid to eat for fear of bowel irritation. Their bowel immunity is offset and Candida infection is common. It is estimated that 1 out of 5 Americans suffer from symptoms of IBS which makes it one of the most common disorders diagnosed by doctors today.
Solution: DR-HO’S® Ab-Trimmer™ digestive detoxification and cleansing system will provide tremendous help for anyone with IBS. DR-HO'S Digestive Detoxifier helps the body eliminate environmental toxins and promotes a healthy intestinal flora balance for optimal digestive health. DR-HO’S® Cleanser fiber mix will help the digestive system in producing well formed, healthy stool. Fibersol-2, a new soluble fiber in DR-HO’S® Cleanser, works to absorb environmental toxins and causes bulking of the stool. It also acts as a pre-biotic to stimulate growth of friendly bacteria in your digestive system. This will promote balance of intestinal flora and gut immunity. DR-HO'S Sereni-Tea will assist in digesting your dinner, promote regularity, relax your mind and body to provide a better overall energy level and have an improved, peaceful sleep. This all natural herbal supplement can help to promote a healthier digestive system and overall health for IBS sufferers.
Attention to eating healthy is also essential for overall progress with IBS. It is important to learn what you should eat and what to avoid.
IBS sufferers should avoid the following in their diet:
Avoid alcohol, dairy products, cold drinks, soft drinks, raw vegetables which contains too much bacteria, skin on fruits which contains too much chemicals and it’s hard to digest, chocolate, rough fibers which could irritate the sensitive intestinal lining, carbonated drinks, deep fried food, greasy food, food containing yeast or sugar and refined / processed foods. It is also important to learn to relax and have less fear about eating.
IBS sufferers should consume more of the following in their daily diet:
Eat a lot of slightly cooked, green leafy vegetables – this is the key to getting better, have 2 to 3 large servings every day. 6 to 8 glasses of room temperature water, hot tea or coffee without milk or sugar, hot soup with no dairy, wholesome rice, pasta, fresh fruits without any skin, lean meat, fish, legumes and other slightly cooked vegetables such as tomatoes, carrots, celery, etc. .
Note: Combining the use of DR-HO’S® Ab-Trimmer™ digestive detoxification and cleansing system with the right healthy diet will help – please try it!

Candida albicans or candidiasis is a type of yeast that lives in our gastrointestinal tract and can become problematic if it overgrows. A reasonable amount of this candida yeast exists within all of us without causing any problems. It is usually kept in-check by other healthy bacteria in our systems. Although, candida has existed for many years there is still uncertainty, from medical professionals, as to how to diagnose it. Right now, however, there seems to be a consensus that the number one cause of candida is from the over use of broad spectrum antibiotics and birth control pills. Antibiotics not only kill the bad bacteria in our body, but the good bacteria as well. Since there is no bacterium to combat the growth of this yeast (candida albicans) it is able to grow and can spread to various systems of our body.
Note: Over growth of intestinal Candida can also occur if the digestive system cannot eliminate waste matter on a daily basis. Rotting waste in the gut provide a favorable environment for yeast to grow and multiply. With Candida overgrowth, it is very important to use DR-HO’S® Ab-Trimmer™ Digestive Detoxification and Cleansing system to stimulate regular bowel movements to eliminate old waste matter in the gut and to promote healthy digestive function. A clean intestine and colon is not a favorable place for yeast to grow.
Symptoms of Candida overgrowth include:
- Bloating, cramps and excess gas
- Diarrhea and constipation (this may be alternating)
- Multiple allergies or allergies to all foods
- Migraines
- Muscle aches
- Itchy anus
If candida spreads to the rest of the body it can cause:
- Thrush (a yeast infection which develops in the mouth and throat and on the tongue)
- Cystitis (infection of the bladder or lower urinary system)
- PMS (premenstrual syndrome)
- Menstrual irregularities
- Joint pains
- Asthma
- Hayfever
- Sinusitis (cold or allergy like symptoms)
- Fungal infections of the nail/skin e.g. athletes foot
- Weight gain or weight loss
- Ear infections
- Chronic tiredness
- Allergies
- Sensitivity to perfume, tobacco smoke and petrol
The following is a list of factors that are known to contribute to the increase of candida:
- Use of contraceptive pill or HRT (hormone replacement therapy)
- Use of natural progesterone cream
- use of other steroids (hydrocortisone, prednisolone etc.)
- use of immuno-suppressive drugs
- repeated use of broad-spectrum antibiotics e.g. for acne
- dental mercury amalgam poisoning
- other heavy metal poisoning e.g. lead, cadmium
- chemical poisoning from the home, garden, workplace etc.
- High sugar diet
- stress
Solution: To stop the growth and to reduce candida, you need to detoxify and cleanse your digestive tract. You will also need to stimulate the growth of intestinal flora by increasing the good bacteria in your system. You will also need to cut out sugar, refined carbohydrates, processed foods and food with yeast and alcohol.
Candida feeds off sugar and yeast; therefore, you need to eliminate sugar, bread with yeast, alcohol and refined food from your diet. You should avoid artificial ingredients since their effects on health are largely unknown. Start eating 2 to 3 large servings of fresh fruit and vegetables daily and avoid fast food. Dietary supplements such as DR-HO’S® Digestive Cleanser will help improve your digestive system and promote a balanced intestinal flora. The fibersol-2 in DR-HO’S® Digestive Cleanser helps to promote growth of probiotic bacteria. Having healthy, well formed, daily regular bowel movements is the key to promote proper digestive function and overall health.

Cramping is a type of abdominal pain like a “stomach ache” which we have all had at one time or another. For some of us this feeling comes and goes, but for others it can be a regular experience. Severe cramping can be disabling. Even mild cramping can be fairly uncomfortable and disturbing. Cramping, usually caused by constipation and/or diarrhea, can be relieved by passing gas or having a bowel movement. Some other causes may include:
- excessive gas
- chronic constipation
- irritable bowel syndrome
- heartburn or indigestion
- bowel obstruction
Solution: The best way to reduce cramping is to promote healthier digestive function. You can promote a healthier digestive system by detoxifying and cleansing the digestive system to restore healthy daily regular bowel movements. Fennel is an important ingredient in helping to relieve bloating or even gas. This safe herbal supplement can be used on a daily basis and is a key ingredient in DR-HO’S® Sereni-Tea and DR-HO’S® Digestive Cleanser. DR-HO’S® Digestive Cleanser is a rich source of dietary fiber and includes ingredients such as rhubarb root and peppermint leaf which will increase the production of bile and aid in the digestion process helping to relieve constipation. Avoid soft drinks and any other carbonated drinks, instead have a hot cup of our Sereni-Tea after meals to assist digestion and promote relaxation. An interesting note is that some women have also reported less cramping during their menstrual cycles by doing a regular digestive cleanse.

Everyone has gas. We eliminate gas by belching or passing it through the rectum. It is normal for the average person to pass gas numerous times a day and less than 1% of it smells. Usually belching is caused by swallowing air, chewing gum, or by consuming carbonated drinks such as coke. However, flatulence which is passed through the rectum is caused by enzymes in the large intestines that breakdown our food. These enzymes expel small amounts of sulfur. Although having gas is fairly commonplace it can be discomforting for those who have excessive gas. Excessive passing of gas that are awfully smelly is a sign of unhealthy digestive system.
Solution: The best way to reduce formation and excessive passing of gas is to promote healthier digestive function. You can promote a healthier digestive system by detoxifying and cleansing the digestive system to restore healthy daily regular bowel movements. Having regular bowel movements to remove old waste on a daily basis is the key to preventing formation of gas by rotting fecal matter stuck in your gut. Passing gas is normal and you’re not going to eliminate all gas in your system. DR-HO’S® Ab-Trimmer™ system will help to significantly reduce the amount of gas you experience on a daily basis; more importantly, the gas from a clean healthy digestive system will have a lot less foul odor.

If you are having less than 1 healthy, soft, well formed, easy bowel movement a day, you have irregularity. If you have fewer than 3 bowel movements per week, you are suffering with more severe constipation. If you have less than one bowel movement a week, your severe constipation is a serious health threat that needs immediate attention. Constipated stools usually appear hard, dry, small in size and also difficult to eliminate. Constipation and irregularity means old fecal matter cannot be eliminated from your digestive system. The old poop is rotting in your gut, producing toxins and gas, causing abdominal cramps, bloating and low energy. The digestive system is not digesting, absorbing or eliminating properly.
Hard, small, dry stool is hard to eliminate, the straining can cause engorgement of the venous plexus at the anus to form hemorrhoids. Rupture of these hemorrhoids by the hard stool cause pain and bloody stool. Constipation can also cause over stretching of the colon, causing cracking and inflammation of the intestinal wall. Chronic constipation can cause polyps and diverticulitis to form. Over time, the deteriorating condition can cause serious bowel disease.
Constipation and irregularity is one of the most common gastrointestinal complaints in the USA, effecting millions of people. Constipation and irregularity is a functional problem that is mainly related to poor diets and unhealthy lifestyle. More importantly, almost all constipation and irregularity cases can be helped by using DR-HO’S® Ab-Trimmer™ Detoxification and Cleansing system in conjunction with a healthy diet and some minor lifestyle changes.
Other factors which may contribute to constipation and irregularity are:
- Not eating enough green leafy vegetables
- Not eating enough fresh fruits
- Not drinking enough pure water
- Not enough fibers in diet
- Medication side effects
- Starvation weight loss diets
- Consuming too much refined and processed food
- Rushing, not taking time to have a bowel movement when nature calls
- Food intolerances
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome
- Sedentary lifestyle/lack of physical activity
- Problems with intestinal function
- Changes in your daily life such as travel, aging or pregnancy
- Frequent use of laxatives
Solution: The best way to eliminate constipation and irregularity is to promote healthier digestive function. You can promote a healthier digestive system by detoxifying and cleansing the digestive system to restore healthy daily regular bowel movements. If you suffer with constipation, start using DR-HO’S® Ab-Trimmer™ Digestive Detoxification and Cleansing system as soon as possible. Constipation is much more than just being uncomfortable, it is very bad for your health. The good news is that constipation and irregularity is usually temporary and not serious if corrected in time. In conjunction with using the DR-HO’S® Ab-Trimmer™ system, eating a sensible diet and living a healthy lifestyle are important for long-term care. These changes are similar for taking care of other digestive dysfunctions.
Constipation and Irregularity sufferers should avoid the following:
Avoid or at least minimize deep fried food, junk food, refined food, processed food, food containing saturated animal fat, artificial ingredients, food coloring and flavors, excessive red meat and junk food.
Constipation and Irregularity sufferers should consume more of the following in their daily diet:
Eat a lot of slightly cooked, green leafy vegetables – this is the key to getting better; have 2 to 3 large servings every day. 6 to 8 glasses of room temperature water, hot tea or coffee is fine, hot soup, wholesome rice, pasta, fresh fruits, lean meat, fish, legumes and a variety of other vegetables such as tomatoes, carrots, celery, etc.
Tip: Try to have a bowel movement shortly after a meal at the same time everyday. About 10 to 15 minutes after you’ve eaten, try to have a bowel movement even if you don’t have the urge to go. This routine can help to train your digestive tract to move more regularly over time. Be patient, after several weeks of this “toilet training” routine, your system will respond like it should after a meal.
Note: If you suffer from irregularity you will do well by adding a higher intake of fiber to your diet. DR-HO’S® Digestive Cleanser is a rich source of dietary fiber and includes ingredients such as rhubarb root and peppermint leaf which will help to increase the production of bile and aid in the digestion process helping to relieve constipation. It will help add the extra fiber that your diet requires. Try to stay away from laxatives; all they do is relax the muscles in your digestive organs and your body may become dependant on them.
With DR-HO’S® Ab-Trimmer™ Detoxification and Cleansing system, there are 3 special all natural formulas working together to solve the problem:
1. DR-HO'S Digestive Cleanser: Fiber will promote intestinal and colon health, resulting in a cleaner, healthier digestive system and overall better health.

3. DR-HO'S Sereni-Tea: Will assist in digesting your dinner, promote regularity, relax your mind and body to provide a better overall energy level and have an improved, peaceful sleep.
Using DR-HO’S® Ab-Trimmer™ in conjunction with the above dietary guideline is easy, safe and highly effective, please give it a try.

Colorectal cancer is a serious bowel disease. It has the highest occurrence in developed nations such as the United States and Canada. The lowest rate of occurrence occurs in developing nations in Asia. Although the exact reason is not known, colorectal cancer is much lower in Asia and may partly be related to the vast amount of complex carbohydrates such as green leafy vegetables and wholesome fruits in the Asian diet. In the United States, diets consist of mainly meat dishes and processed foods which are difficult for the body to digest and hard to eliminate. People who consume more complex carbohydrates such as green leafy vegetables and wholesome fruits have healthier, regular bowel movements, while people who consume mostly processed foods tend to suffer more with constipation and bowel irregularity.
As stated by the American Cancer Society, colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer found in both men and women in the United States. It is estimated that there will be about 148,000 cases of colorectal cancer in 2006 which will result in about 55,000 deaths. While the exact cause for colorectal is unknown there are some risk factors which are associated with it:
- Age: More than 9 out of 10 people found to have colorectal cancer are older than 50.
- Having had colorectal cancer before: Even though the cancer was completely removed previously, it could start in other areas of the colon or rectum.
- Having a history of polyps: Some types of polyps increase the risk of colorectal cancer especially if you have had a close relative who’s been diagnosed previously.
- Having a history of bowel disease: Ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease increase the risk of colorectal cancer. These diseases cause inflammation of the colon. If you have either of these you should be tested on a regular basis.
- Diet: A diet which is high in fat can increase the chances of colorectal cancer
- Lack of exercise: Those who are not active or live a sedentary lifestyle have a higher risk of colorectal cancer.
- Overweight: Those who are excessively overweight have an increased chance of colorectal cancer.
- Smoking: Smokers are 30%-40% more likely to die from colorectal cancer. Smoking also increases the risk of other types of cancer as well.
- Alcohol: Considerable use of alcohol has also been associated with colorectal cancer.
*Risk factors courtesy of American Cancer Society
Reduce the risk: It is highly recommended to have a colonoscopy examination as part of your routine physical examination in order to detect bowel disease in its early state.
Medical Disclaimer: If you suffer with a bowel disease such as colorectal cancer, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease or any other disease of the digestive system, you must consult with your doctor first before using any DR-HO’S® products or make any changes to your diet.
Prevention is key:
Although the cause of colorectal cancer is unknown, you may help to prevent it by controlling some of your risk factors. First maintain a healthy diet by consuming more wholesome fresh fruits, green leafy vegetables, non leafy fresh vegetables, whole grain foods for a good source of fiber, unprocessed food and 6 to 8 glasses of water daily. Second, reduce or eliminate your intake of high fat foods, meat, processed food, refined food, deep fried foods, soft drinks, artificial chemicals and junk food. Also, try to maintain an active lifestyle by walking, jogging or even light workouts on a daily basis. It has also been suggested that consuming a daily multi-vitamin such as DR-HO’S® Essential™ may help provide a foundation of essential nutrients as well as anti-oxidants to help combat disease forming free radicals.
The use of DR-HO’S® Ab-Trimmer system is important; it can help to detoxify and cleanse your colon to stimulate regular bowel movements and promote digestive and overall health. Irregularity causes old fecal matter to rot in your colon, forming gas and toxins that irritate the intestinal lining. Constipation can cause over stretching of the intestinal wall which can then crack and become more prone to irritation and inflammation. Polyps and diverticulitis can form within the digestive tract with chronic constipation and irregularity. It is essential to have daily regular bowel movements for good health. With our modern lifestyle, it is very important for everyone to regularly detoxify and cleanse their digestive system in conjunction with a healthy diet and lifestyle to promote a healthy digestive system.

Colitis is an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) which causes inflammation in the large intestine and colon. Unfortunately because of its similar nature to other bowel disorders it can be difficult to diagnose. Those who suffer from colitis may experience abdominal pain and bloody diarrhea, fatigue, weight loss, joint pain, loss of appetite and bodily fluids and anemia. It is important to note that the American Cancer Society recommends that anyone suffering from ulcerative colitis should be tested for colorectal cancer on a regular basis as they may be more prone.
Support: Unfortunately, there is no medication to cure ulcerative colitis but, there are medications that will assist in reducing the severity of symptoms.
Only after the consultation and consent from your doctor, DR-HO’S® Ab-Trimmer™ Detoxification and Cleansing system may be used to support a more balanced digestive function.

Crohn’s disease is a form of an inflammatory bowel disease. Due to the similar symptoms of IBD, such as ulcerative colitis or irritable bowel syndrome, it may be difficult to diagnose Crohn’s disease. Crohn’s disease causes inflammation in many different areas of the gastrointestinal tract but it most commonly appears to affect the lower part of the small intestine. The swelling caused by Crohn’s disease can cause pain and also increase the frequency of passing digested matter which results in diarrhea. The most common symptoms are abdominal pain, diarrhea, arthritis, weight loss, rectal bleeding and skin problems.
There is no known cause of Crohn’s disease. The most popular belief for the cause of Crohn’s disease is an abnormal activation of the immune system. Usually the immune system is activated when the body is exposed to any harmful and foreign viruses and bacteria. However, in those whom suffer from inflammatory bowel disease, the immune system is abnormally activated even without the presence of a foreign virus or bacteria. This abnormal activation of the immune system results in a constant inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract which causes ulcers as well. It is also believed that Crohn’s disease or even the abnormal activation of the immune system may be hereditary and those who suffer from Crohn’s disease usually have a close relative (such as parent or sibling) who has been affected by some form of inflammatory bowel disease. Crohn’s disease occurs throughout all age groups but seems to be more commonly diagnosed in those aged between 20 and 30 years of age. It is important to note that the American Cancer Society recommends that anyone suffering from Crohn’s disease should be tested for colorectal cancer on a regular basis as they may be more prone.
Support: Unfortunately, there is no medication to cure Crohn’s disease but there are medications that will assist in reducing the severity of symptoms.
Only after the consultation and consent from your doctor, DR-HO’S® Ab-Trimmer™ Detoxification and Cleansing system may be use to support a more balance digestive function.

There are 3 basic non-medical causes of weight gain:
1. A diet high in fat, meat, fast food, refined foods, condensed food, junk food, deep fried food, food with high concentration of sugar can all contribute to intake of high calories.
2. Inadequate amount of physical activities to burn off the daily intake of excess calories.
3. Irregularity causing old fecal matter to stay in your gut, contributing to your overall weight.
Due to high caloric foods in diet, increased weight gain and obesity has become a problem in North America and other developed countries. Obesity is a modern day disease. Poor digestive cycles along with irregular bowel movements are contributing factors to increased weight gain. In normal physiology, the digestive system empties itself by having a regular bowel movement after each meal. If you are not having a regular bowel movement after each meal, old fecal matters is contributing to your overall weight gain. With irregularity, fecal matter stays in the intestinal tract and continues to backup the digestive system until a bowel movement occurs. In fact the body can hold up to 10lbs of fecal matter at a time! The longer this fecal matter remains in the intestinal tract, the more likely it will leave a sticky plaque like substance on the walls of the intestinal tract. As more plaque is added, it becomes harder and more difficult to have normal bowel movements.
Aside: Irregular bowel movements can cause other unfavorable conditions in the gut. It allows parasites a chance to lay eggs in the digestive system. These parasites or worms have the ability to absorb the nutrients from the food we eat, and to grow larger in size. Tapeworms in particular, can grow several feet in length! The scariest thing is that some of these parasites have the ability to lay up to one million eggs per day. Rotting fecal matter in the gut is a favorable place for parasites to grow and to multiple.
Solution: You can lose weight and manage your weight going forward by:
1. Selecting to consume only healthy foods and drinks all the time.
2. Increase your physical activities throughout the day which ever way you can and also implement a time for more intense daily exercise.
3. Use DR-HO’S® Ab-Trimmer™ Detoxification and Cleansing system regularly to cleanse your bowel of old waste and promote healthy daily bowel movement.
Medical Disclaimer: Always consult and obtain consent from your doctor first before making any changes to your diet or starting any exercise program.

There are hundreds of different parasites that live in our environment. They populate our digestive system and are usually spread as a result of poor hygiene, contact with animals and from poorly cooked or unwashed food. They are slightly larger than bacteria and viruses but we cannot see them with our naked eyes. Parasites which invade and live in our intestinal tract are the most harmful to us. Some of these parasites have the potential to lay up to millions of eggs a day. For people with irregular bowel movements, these parasites are not being eliminated in a timely fashion. Once they are in our digestive system, these parasites live by feeding off the nutrients from the food we eat; this can contributes to the host’s lowered energy. Tapeworms in particular, may grow up to 18ft (6m)! Parasites/worms can also make it difficult to have regular bowel movements and they can also cause cramping, bloating, gas and diarrhea. More severe parasite infections may cause unhealthy weight loss, fever, nausea, vomiting and even bloody stools.
Solution: The key to ridding your digestive system of any foreign parasites is by having 2-3 regular bowel movements per day. Regular bowel movements reduce the chances of parasites living in our intestinal tract long enough to lay eggs. Also, it is highly recommended to wash fruits, vegetables and even meat before preparing a meal.
Use DR-HO’S® Ab-Trimmer™ Detoxification and Cleansing system is helpful against irregularity and parasites living in your digestive system. It contains natural ingredients that will help to supplement your diet and aid your digestive system by promoting healthy, regular bowel movements. Many natural ingredients within our DR-HO’S® Digestive Detoxifier have been used traditionally for centuries and have been observed to eliminate parasite/worms from the intestinal tract.

Diverticulosis and the more serious diverticulitis are two of the main types of diverticular disorders. This disease occurs when small pouches in the colon or large intestine bulge outwards through these areas as a result of a weak lining. When this happens people are more prone to infections as there is a buildup of fecal matter within this pouch. A low fiber diet, although not yet proven, is believed to be the main reason for diverticular disorders. Diets that are low in fiber also make it harder to pass stool and straining during bowel movements may cause further irritation. This is especially more common in industrialized countries such as United States, Canada, England and Australia and frequently occurs in more than half the population of those who are 55 and older. This is due to the fact that most diets in industrialized countries are low in fiber, highly processed, high in meat content, saturated with fats and contains environmental toxins. Fiber is the main component of vegetables, fruits and whole grains that our body cannot digest. The undigested fiber act as a bulking agent passes through our system to scrub and absorb waste and toxin to eliminate during a bowel movement. Consuming an adequate amount of fiber daily is essential for intestinal health.
Solution: Unfortunately there is no cure for diverticular disorders. Reducing the samount of meat while consuming more green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits, water and wholesome grains in your daily diet may reduce infections due to diverticular disorders. Consuming 6-8 glasses of water per day will also help to loosen the stool in your intestinal tract so that it can be eliminated more easily. Using DR-HO’S® Ab-Trimmer™ Detoxification and cleansing system in conjunction with a healthy diet will promotes intestinal and colon health, resulting in a cleaner, healthier digestive system and overall better health. DR-HO’S® system can also help the body eliminates environmental toxins and promotes a healthy flora balance for optimal digestive health.

Certain medications, stress, rushing around, poor bowel habits can impact your overall good health and well being.
Most people do not consume enough pure water, fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables on a daily basis. Occasional constipation and poor diets work impacts our overall health and well-being and taxes our immune system. Lack of daily regular bowel movements can make you feel bloated and uncomfortable.
If you are having less than one bowel movement a day, you should consider having your digestive system detoxified and cleansed. Many holistic practitioners believe that, every time you eat a full meal, the new bolus of food in your intestine should stimulate a bowel movement shortly after the meal to eliminate fecal matters. That means you should be having 2 to 3 bowel movements everyday for optimal health. If you are having less than one healthy bowel movement a day, you should get on a program that promotes at least one bowel movement per day. This standard of measurement for regularity is for everyone, regardless of your age or culture. If you are not having daily regular bowel movements, you're not promoting optimal good health.

Note: Our cleanser comes in a loose powder form, which you mix with room temperature water, 100% fruit juice to create a shake before drinking; you can even mix it with yogurt. How our digestive system works
The Importance of your Digestive System
The Digestive System:
Our Digestive System starts to work from the instant we put food into our mouth and ends when we have a bowel movement. The Digestive system works to break down the food we eat, absorb the nutrients and fluid into our body, and then excretes the unwanted waste material to prevent any toxic build up. The ability to excrete waste every day is just as important as the ability to absorb nutrients. Without daily bowel movement, our digestive system becomes congested with toxic fecal matter, we may experience occasional gas, bloating, bad breath, constipation, . In other words, we are not promoting optimal digestive health
(1) How the Body Digest Food:
There are numerous reasons why our digestive system may not work as optimally as it could. The most common reasons are poor diet, stress, and insufficient water intake,
Poor Diet
Poor diet is by far the number one reason why people experience occasional Constipation, Indigestion, Heartburn, and Bloating. The average modern day diet does not have sufficient amounts of fruits, green leafy vegetables and fiber. Most modern diets contain too much refined carbohydrates as well as refined and processed foods. The body has an extremely difficult time breaking down and digesting foods with a high concentration of starch such as fast food, pizza, bread, cereal, pasta and processed potatoes. When food is not properly digested, it can be more difficult to eliminate. Hardened stool makes it extremely difficult for the intestines to contract which can cause occasional constipation and/or diarrhea.
A poor diet can lead to food not digesting properly and creating occasional constipation. If you are not experiencing at least one bowel movement a day there is a good chance that you are not getting enough fiber in your diet. It may also cause occasional gas and bloating which can leave you experiencing discomfort and lack of energy.
To improve the health of your digestive system and your overall health, it is essential to consume a sufficient amount of daily fresh fruits, green leafy vegetables, water and fiber to help with cleansing the digestive system and to improve the frequency and quality of your bowel movements. In addition to improving your diet, using the DR-HO’S® Ab-Trimmer™ digestive detoxification and cleansing system will greatly help to promote a healthier digestive system and an improvement with your overall health.
Stress
Many changes occur when the body is under a state of stress. Heart rate is increased, muscles are tensed and the digestive system works less efficiently. During times of stress the body enters a “Flight or Fight” stage. The body diverts energy away from the digestive areas during stress.
With modern lifestyle, people are always rushing around and often avoiding nature’s call for a bowel movement. Most people do not make a habit of training themselves to having daily regular bowel movements. These poor bowel habits can lead to occasional constipation.
The Sereni-Tea™ in the DR-HO’S® Ab-Trimmer™ system contains Chamomile and 10 other natural herbs which are outstanding natural supplements. Sereni-Tea™ will assist in digesting your dinner, promote regularity, relax your mind and body to provide a better overall energy level and have an improved, peaceful sleep.
Lack of Water Intake
“In the human body, water is essentially the most crucial element in maintaining health and vitality.” The human body requires adequate hydration for the bodies’ biochemical reactions to function at an optimal level. Without 8 - 10 glasses of water a day, your body cannot digest food properly, resulting in poor absorption of nutrients, poor breakdown of foods and an accumulation of built up fecal matter. This build up of fecal matter prevents regular bowel movements, and increases the amount of toxins stored in your system. Dehydration also slows down your metabolism, and it can lead to sugar cravings and fatigue. By drinking the appropriate amount of water, your body can lubricate the digestive tract, initiate dissolvability, and effectively cleanse and flush the digestive system leading to a healthier, more energetic body. Remember, without water, your body cannot cleanse itself.
The benefits of optimal digestion and regularity
From the air we breathe to the food we eat, we are bombarded with environmental toxins. It is important to help our body eliminate these toxins on a daily basis. Occasional constipation, bloating, and non-regularity are signs that your body may not be efficiently eliminating these toxins. By not having at least one bowel movement the fecal matter in our body is not being eliminated. The sooner you address your digestive health and promote regular bowel movements, the healthier your digestive system and overall health will be.
